The physical volume index (PVI) of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for 2023 (preliminary data) in relation to 2022 amounted to 105,1% and remained at the level of the operational estimate of GDP. In the structure of GDP, the share of production of goods is 36, 3%, services –56,4%.
In February 2024, 136.6 thousand units of motor vehicles were registered1), compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, the indicator decreased by 13.5%, including buses increased – 7%, trucks decreased 13.9% times and passenger cars decreased decreased by 10.3%.
In 2023, compared with the previous year, there was an increase in consumption by the main food groups, except for bread products and cereals, fish and seafood, oils and fats.
IPV in the Trade sector in January-March 2024 compared to the corresponding period last year amounted to 103.3% (January-March 2023 – 111.5%).
According to the results of the annual survey of enterprises in the field of agriculture, forestry and fisheries, industry, construction, industry, construction, transport and storage, provision of accommodation and catering services, information and communication, professional, scientific and technical activities, health and social services in conditions that do not meet sanitary and hygienic requirements (standards) 410.3 thousand people worked in 2023 (2022 – 386.3 thousand people) or 24.2% of the total number of employees of the surveyed enterprises.
In January 2024, 146.4 thousand units of motor vehicles were registered1), compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, the indicator increased by 44.1%, including buses – 15.3%, trucks 11.4% times and passenger cars decreased by 15.3%.
IPV in the Trade sector in January-February 2024 compared to the corresponding period last year amounted to 104.2% (January-February 2023 – 111.5%).
